WEBCorsairs are great keyboards. Don't let the custom keyboards community tell you otherwise. I've had a a K65 for 5 or so years and the keycaps aren't worn down one bit, with heavy gaming and programming. No spring crunch, never felt like it missed any key presses, solid build quality, even though there is plastic. I have two complaints:

WEBNov 6, 2021 · Personally, after getting a proper custom build, I’m never going back to low end gaming keyboard such as corsair, razer, etc. Corsair keyboards are good when compared to your regular office keyboard, but prob not when compared a GMK fully modded and lubed. As cringe as it sounds, this is the truth. Corsair kbs are garbage.

WEBFeb 11, 2022 · All had the same issues. LED's going out or changing to random colors, tons of key chattering, firmware issues, etc. before I finally had enough with corsair. I'd steer as far away from corsair as you possibly can. Their keyboards and mice anyways. Eventually got a Durgod Venus and have never looked back.

WEBMay 1, 2018 · Brands like Corsair and Razer uses non-standard keycap sizes on the bottom row of the keyboard (the one with the spacebar), severely limiting your options concerning custom keycaps. There is also the cost/benefit ratio: Corsair and Razer keyboards usually have a bad C/B ratio, because they have a high price tag and lack in build quality.

WEBKeyboards are nice but Corsair isn’t really competing well with their mice. I have the K55 + harpoon bundle, for the price they're good and the membrane keyboard isn't too bad for gaming. Pretty reliable. Personally am looking to upgrade the keyboard to a custom one.

WEBNov 11, 2021 · I hate on Corsair because their $200 mechanical keyboard spits its keys at me. Otherwise not bad, but major design flaw. I don't care about their business, all I care about is a product I pay for being FIT FOR PURPOSE. A keyboard that shoots keys into your face randomly is not fit for purpose. And they know it.

WEBJul 5, 2022 · I have numerous Corsair products and I consider all of them to be high quality and very nice. Have a total of 13 Corsair fans (some rgb, some not), 2x16gb rgb RAM, their extended mouse pad, 360mm AIO, platinum Psu, premium cables for the Psu, an extra commander core XT, and my case is the 5000X. I also use iCue for all my rgb lighting.
