I’ve been to the revamped Bristol Beacon several times now and it’s a brilliant venue. By far my favourite venue for live music. The minimal and civilised queues for the bar, is definitely a welcome … Full review by Sally G

I would suggest The Premier Inn at The Haymarket which is only a couple of minutes from the M32 out of Bristol where you join the M4 westbound straight onto the M5 north. It's only 10mins walk from there to the Colston Hall so you can park your car at the hotel and take a stroll to the venue. They have a deal of £54.00 at the moment, good value I would suggest. Here's the address: - The Haymarket, Bristol, Avon BS1 3LR. Tel: 0871 527 8156
