Jacmel right now is devoid of any character. If you wanna see people going through some unfortunate times then go for a visit. Otherwise, it really was uninviting even during what could have been a b… Full review by Visit100Countries

Not a place for swimming. But a lovely walk and view the harbour. Nice to take the sea breezes in. Especially after having a shop in the various art galleries that abound. Full review by lauraa52

We used a taxi supplied by the hotel, great journey over the mountains took about 3 hours Jacmel is a great place to visit and recommend Colins Hotel in the centre of the Arts area and close to the Visitors centre, have happy trip it's worth it. Hello, my fellow travelers! I am searching for a CHEAP way to travel from Port-au-Prince to Jacmel on Dec. 21, returning to PAP on 24 December in time to catch a flight to Cap Haitien. Looks like tap taps are going to be the only way to get down there and back. By chance, is anyone renting a car and doing the 3-hour drive there and back? I'm happy to share costs for petrol, etc. Please message me back if you're going to Jacmel. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
