On Friday, the Alamosa Police Department said they were dispatched to a Burger King at 2501 Main Street in Alamosa around 8:32 a.m.

An Alamosa Burger King was evacuated Friday morning after an individual alleged barricaded themselves in the fast food joint's bathroom.

The man did $50,000 in damage to the Burger King, police said. Officers arrested Dare Mezidor of Alamosa on charges of burglary, assault on a police officer, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and obstructing police, the agency said. Alamosa is about a 235-mile drive southwest from Denver.
