The Jacksonville Jaguars just took another massive step toward the playoffs with a wild overtime victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Brissett led the Cardinals 80 yards downfield with no timeouts, connecting with Michael Wilson for a 31-yard gain that put Chad Ryland in easy field goal position. He tied it at 24 with 3 seconds left on a 29-yard kick, forcing overtime.

The Cardinals rallied for a tying field goal at the end of regulation, but Cam Little kicked a 52-yard field goal in overtime for Jacksonville and Arizona turned the ball over on downs in Sunday’s 27-24 loss. “Love the fight, love the resilience, we did some good things,” Gannon said. “But there’s no silver lining in losing.”

Jaguars may not be as common as they once were, and they aren't often spotted. However, Arizona has a few of the big cats roaming the state.

The Jaguars' defense has had its ups and downs in the 2025 NFL season. The Arizona Cardinals have the perfect weapon to exploit one of their key weaknesses.
