An Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 was en route from Azerbaijan's capital of Baku to the Russian city of Grozny when it crashed, killing 38 people onboard.

One of the survivors of a Azerbaijan Airlines plane that went down Kazakhstan Wednesday filmed the aftermath of the fiery crash. The footage, published by RT, showed items strewn about the cabin as one man tried to escape.

Azerbaijan Airlines said the Embraer 190 aircraft had been flying from Baku to Grozny in Russia, but had been forced to make an emergency landing.
