(Nasdaq: CKPT) ("Checkpoint") today announced that they have entered into an agreement by which Sun Pharma will acquire Checkpoint, an immunotherapy and targeted oncology company.

Sun Pharma, India's largest pharmaceutical company, is set to acquire Checkpoint Therapeutics for $355 million. This strategic acquisition will enhance Sun Pharma's specialty portfolio, including UNLOXCYT,
