Dayle Haddon looked back at the 'connection' she made with other women throughout her life in her final PEOPLE interview, which took place at the opening of an Ann Taylor store in New York City on Dec.

Ms. Haddon, who carved a path all her own in the modeling world, was found dead on Friday morning from what authorities believed was a carbon monoxide leak.

Dayle Haddon has died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at the home of her son-in-law, Buffy actor Marc Blucas.
