In their first bout, Dubois and Usyk exchanged knockdowns, in Warren's mind, yet Usyk's time on the canvas was adjudged to have been caused by a low blow rather than a legitimate shot. Warren summarized Usyk's weakness in three words, when Sky Sports asked him.

"It’s gonna be a bloodbath. I’m going to put all the controversy and nonsense to rest," Dubois said at Tuesday's news conference.

The fight comes almost two years after their first contest, when Usyk was a unified champion having twice beaten Anthony Joshua across 12 rounds. At that point, Dubois was a little greener but did manage to get Usyk down to the canvas though it was ruled low and Usyk was given all the time he needed to recover.
