An Air Canada flight experienced a suspected landing gear issue, causing it to skid down the runway and catch on fire.

Another one in particular just took place, as a South Korean plane skidded off the runway and burst into flames. The result of the fiery crash saw 179 reported fatalities. Passengers on an Air Canada flight were in for quite the scare on Saturday evening when their flight was landing in Halifax.

Part of Air Canada Flight 2259 caught fire after it skidded off the runway at Halifax Airport. The incident took place just two hours after a plane crashed in South Korea, killing 92 onboard.
