Police have warned of strict action against anyone found posting false videos or information suggesting that the stampede at Sandhya Theatre took place before the arrival of 'Pushpa' star Allu Arjun on the fateful night of 4 December.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police has warned people of severe action if they are found spreading misinformation about the stampede reported at Sandhya 70 MM Theatre during the premiere show of Pushpa 2 on December 4. A woman was killed while her son seriously injured during the stampede at the theatre.

They also asked him how many bouncers he arranged for the show. Allu Arjun was let off by the Chikkadpally police after the questioning.The police registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under different sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Chikkadpally police station.

A 35-year-old woman died during the stampede at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4 where 'Pushpa 2' movie was screened and her eight-year-old son was hospitalised.

The Hyderabad police has issued a notice to Telugu star Allu Arjun for an in-person appearance as part of an ongoing probe into the stampede during the screening of 'Pushpa-2' on December 4. Chikkadpally inspector Raju Naik said he was asked to appear before the police at 11 am today. The actor had said he would cooperate with the investigation.

Pushpa 2 stampede case: "Legal action will be taken against those who spread misinformation, especially while the case is still under investigation," said Hyderabad Police.
