In Iowa, KCCI reporters covered protests in Des Moines, Ames, Creston and Perry, where many demonstrators said they were looking to spread positivity while also highlighting their political concerns.

Dozens of other communities in Iowa held “No Kings” protests, including in Tipton. That protest also included a food & toiletry donation for HACAP. In Iowa City, hundreds of people gathered near the University of Iowa Pentacrest for a “No Kings” protest.
