What a homestand for the sizzling Milwaukee Brewers. Riding a couple early runs and another standout start by Colin Rea, they shut out and swept away the Cleveland Guardians, 2-0, at American Family Field on Sunday afternoon to close out their longest run of games on their own turf this season with a 7-3 record.

Colin Rea allowed two hits over seven shutout innings and the Milwaukee Brewers completed a three-game sweep of the Cleveland Guardians on Sunday.

The Guardians tried to respond in the sixth, but were turned away. Jose Ramirez drew a two-out walk and proceeded to steal second and third base with Josh Naylor at the plate against Milwaukee starter Freddy Peralta (8-7, 4.00). The steals gave Ramirez 29 for the season, one shy of reaching 30-30 for the second time in his career.
