Horschel followed suit at the 11th after Matt Fitzpatrick landed in a pair of bunkers and picked up a penalty, which pushed Atlanta’s lead to four. Those two tied at the 14th. Cantlay, after tying with Fowler on their first hole, kept it close at the last to secure their shutout win. They hit 65 feet of putts throughout the night.

Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel and Justin Thomas clinched their first TGL victory for Atlanta Drive GC in their tournament debut, beating New York Golf Club's Rickie Fowler, Matt Fitzpatrick and Cameron Young 4-0 on Tuesday.

With Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy absent and no debut match curiosity, TGL needed a spark — or a competitive match — to keep up the hype during its third match. Unfortunately, it failed to deliver, quickly becoming a snooze fest instead.

New York was smoked by Jupiter in the TGL opener earlier this month at SoFi Center. Viewers in person and watching on ESPN are hoping for a close match.
