Point guard Braden Smith averaged 25 points, 9.7 assists and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 49.1% and 43.8% from 3-point range in three wins last week.

Braden Smith was named the Big Ten Player of the Week on Jan. 6, after leading Purdue to blowout wins over Minnesota and Northwestern.

Braden Smith had 22 points and seven assists to lead No. 20 Purdue to a 79-61 rout of Northwestern. Smith, who scored 17 of his points in the first half, hit 8 of 16 shots for the Boilermakers.
