The Broncos are preparing as if they will not be facing their old starting quarterback Sunday. Russell Wilson (calf) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday for Pittsburgh, but head coach Mike Tomlin on Monday indicated the Steelers were proceeding as if Justin Fields would get his second start of the young season with Wilson still recovering.

The Russell Wilson revenge game against the Denver Broncos might have to be put on hold for Week 2. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was limited at practice with a calf injury that kept Wilson out of Week 1, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Fields didn't do enough to win the job for the rest of the season, but his performance in Week 1, even despite the absence of a touchdown, warranted another look this coming weekend. So, is this is the beginning of the Fields era in Pittsburgh?
