Another round of lake effect snow could dump plenty of the white stuff on Northern New York. The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning for both Jefferson and Lewis counties starting at 4 p.

On Sunday at 3:30 a.m. a lake effect snow warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Monday 4 p.m. until Wednesday 1 p.m. for Oswego County.

A lake effect snow warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 2:33 p.m. in effect until Thursday at 4 p.m. for Southern Erie and Crawford County.

Two lake effect snowstorms in northern and western New York this upcoming week will bring several inches to 2 feet of snow.

"The threat of significant lake effect snow has ended, therefore the Lake Effect Snow Warning will be allowed to expire," states the National Weather Service.
