President Donald Trump directed Immigration and Customs Enforcement over the weekend to help TSA officers, who have been working without pay since the Department of Homeland Security’s annual funding lapsed last month.
The president said he wants to resolve a Homeland Security fight tied to voter-ID legislation.
White House border czar Tom Homan promised “a plan by the end of [Sunday], where we’re sending — what airports we’re starting with and where we’re sending them."
