The Virginia State Police is investigating almost 250 crashes with 19 reported injuries that took place across the Commonwealth between 4-11 a.m. Monday.WHSV’s viewing area falls within parts of VSP’s Division 2 (Culpeper - Northwest Virginia) and Division 3 (Appomattox - Central / West Virginia).

With slick road conditions, Virginia State Police are urging people to stay off the roads as much as possible, as they have responded to over 300 crashes throughout our region since Sunday afternoon.

Virginia State Police said troopers have responded to more than 150 crashes across the Commonwealth as a major winter storm spreads snow across the state.
