Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the country’s military to increase its number of troops by 180,000, the third time he has expanded its ranks since launching his invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The 180,000 troops would raise Russia’s military to 1.5 million as the Ukraine conflict persists, aiming to bolster forces amid ongoing battles.

Health Minister Dr. Yevgeny Shestopalov suggested that office workers take advantage of lunch and coffee breaks to engage in intimate relations. His statement comes as Russia’s fertility rate plummets from 2.1 to around 1.5 children per woman, a problem that has worsened since the war with Ukraine, leading many young Russians to migrate.
