The Phoenix Mercury star needed to be restrained following a scuffle with the Los Angeles Sparks rookie Brittney Griner’s night ended in frustration and an ejection Tuesday after getting into a scuffle with Los Angeles Sparks rookie Rickea Jackson that nearly came to blows.

The big storyline from that game was the fight that broke out between Mercury center Brittney Griner and Sparks rookie Rickea Jackson. Late in the second quarter, both players started jawing at each other and both got a shove in before they were separated. However, the two kept going at it from a distance. Both players were ejected from the game.
