Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched an investigation into the Dallas Police Department’s immigration policies, less than a month after Interim Police Chief Michael Igo faced criticism from prominent conservatives.

Dallas police are investigating the death of a 16-year-old who was found in the 4700 block of S. Great Trinity Forest Way. Officers were called to the scene around 7:15 Saturday evening for a disturbance call. Once officers arrived, they found the teenager with a gunshot wound. Paramedics responded, but the teen died at the scene.

A 17-year-old boy died after a shooting Sunday night near White Marsh, Baltimore County police said Monday. County police believe the shooting took place at about 8:55 p.m. on the 4300 block of Bedrock Circle in Nottingham.
