After closing for a year due to the owners' family commitments, the Greenville Drive-In has found new operators.
Although drive-in movies are rare today, there were over 4,000 open-air theaters across the country during the '50s and '60s.
The theater opened Sept. 22, 1949, during the height of the drive-in era.
