Falcons – Patriots recap: The leaves fall and so does Atlanta
The Atlanta Falcons should’ve won that game and made a gorgeous autumn day in New England that much more enjoyable. I know that, you know that, the Patriots know that. They have to be letting out of a sigh of relief in Massachusetts today, given how close the margin was, while the Falcons pick up the pieces of yet another loss.
These matchups are quite interesting in Week 9 of the NFL season. They have very notable fantasy football implications for better or worse.
While New England certainly needs their MVP candidate and franchise quarterback healthy, the dual-threat nature of Maye’s game is going to result in him taking hits at times. The issue here, however,
Week 9 will conclude with a Monday Night Football game at AT&T Stadium, as two struggling teams look to get off the mat. Texas native Kyle Murray and the Arizona Cardinals (2-5), losers of five straight, will visit Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (3-4-1).
The Atlanta Falcons lost their third straight game, falling 24-23 to the New England Patriots. However, despite the loss, the Falcons' pass rush dominated, registering sick sacks and six quarterback hits, powered by rookie Jalon Walker.
