Phoenix Suns star forward Kevin Durant appears to be set for another All-Star nod as the 2024-25 season continues. Durant was second in All-Star voting for Western Conference frontcourt players, only trailing Nikola Jokic in votes after the NBA's first update.

Shortly thereafter, Durant logged onto X and started firing off posts, many of which were directed at fans complaining about the NBA. The first post was in response to a user lamenting the fact that San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama and New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns shot threes over each other instead of dunking on each other.

Television viewership is down from this time a year ago. This matters to Kevin Durant, a 14-time All-Star who's seen what the NBA can do.

The fans certainly believe Durant is doing plenty, as evidenced by his landing second in the first return of fan votes for Western Conference All-Star front-court players. He's behind three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets, the league announced Thursday.
