The 2025 season has turned into one of the most unpredictable years in recent NFL history. The Chiefs have won the AFC West nine straight times but enter Week 10 in third place. The Bills have won every AFC East title since 2020 but currently look up at the Patriots in the standings.
The Chiefs have head-to-head losses to the Los Angeles Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars, the two teams directly ahead of it in the wild-card standings. Patrick Mahomes and Co. still have to play the Denver Broncos twice, with the first meeting coming out of Kansas City's bye in Week 11.
Two turnovers and a likely season-ending injury to tight end Tucker Kraft stunted the Packers to allow the Panthers to sneak out with the win. Despite falling to 5-2-1, the Packers still hold the division lead headed into a matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau next Monday night.
Week 9 saw a huge NFC North matchup between the Lions and the Vikings, while the Packers faced the Carolina Panthers, and the Bears took on the Cincinnati Bengals. Minnesota entered the game 3-4 and was on the road, taking on Detroit. The Vikings were clicking on all cylinders and came away with a huge 27-24 win.
The New York Jets likely took the Cincinnati Bengals out of the AFC North hunt with their upset win. The Dallas Cowboys' playoff chances took a massive hit with their loss to the Denver Broncos, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers appear to be cruising toward their fifth straight NFC South title.
