BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Five people, including a police officer, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a crash in Niagara Falls early Friday morning, according to the mayor’s office.

A marked police vehicle was struck in an overnight crash at 16th Street and Cleveland Avenue. Four civilians and an officer were treated; two arrests were made.

Another driver involved in the two-vehicle Portage Road collision was sent to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Niagara Regional Police said.
