SAN JOSE – A man died after he crashed a stolen car into a wall Saturday in San Jose, police said. Officers in marked police vehicles initially tried to stop the car — described as a gray 2013 Infiniti EX37 — just before 3 a.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Moorpark Avenue, San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez said in a news release.

Police said the death marked the city’s third fatal collision and traffic death of 2026.
