EL PASO, Texas -- It's proof that practice does indeed make perfect. The snare line at Eastwood High School recently competed at an international convention for percussion in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Winners of the Modern Snare Drum Competition take home a range of prizes including cash, drums, drumsticks, and other gifts. The annual event is being held in Cleveland this year for the first time.
