SpongeBob, the “absorbent and yellow and porous” sponge, made his debut on Nickelodeon on May 1, 1999, in the pilot episode “Help Wanted.” As some viewers may remember, the episode kicked off SpongeBob’s career at the Krusty Krab.

In honor of the SpongeBob Squarepants TV series’ 25th anniversary, Wendy’s is releasing some special menu items. They include a “Krabby Patty Kollab” cheeseburger, described as a regular cheeseburger either extra cheese and a top secret sauce.
