Paris Jackson is addressing critics of her sheer look at Stella McCartney’s fall 2025 fashion show, which took place on Wednesday. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the daughter of the late singer Michael Jackson said she received “a good amount of flack” for wearing the off-shoulder style.

The Paris collection, provocatively titled “Laptop to Lapdance,” explored the modern working woman’s ability to shift seamlessly between roles, embracing both structure and seduction. It was a natural evolution of 1980s power dressing, when broad-shouldered tailoring became the armor of ambition.

The actor made her return to the front row for the first time in 13 years, and later, stepped out into the Paris night.

Paris selected a look from McCartney’s spring 2025 collection: a sheer, black off-the-shoulder dress made from organic silk. She also touted a miniature version of one of the label’s newest handbags, the Ryder, which features a sloped back akin to a saddle. Gold jewelry, including dangly earrings and rings, completed her look.
