Coach Steve Kerr said Thursday the 37-year-old two-time Kia MVP is expected to return for Friday’s game against Minnesota (10 p.m. ET, NBA TV) following a five-game absence nursing a left quadriceps contusion and muscle strain. He was not listed on the NBA’s injury report Friday morning.

“If you’re gonna be a good team, you’re able to overcome all of that,” Curry said, after shooting 3-for-14 from the field. “We’re obviously not a good team right now because of what our record says and the fact that we found ourselves in these kind of positions.”
