At least seven vehicles were involved in a crash caused by ice on the road in far west Bexar County, a sheriff’s office spokesperson said in a Sunday email.

One of the incidents occurred around 8 p.m. at I-10 westbound at Zuehl Road near Loop 1604, on the Eastside of Bexar County heading toward Seguin. All three westbound lanes have been closed due to the crash, according to TxDOT.

Icy roadways across Central Texas remained treacherous Sunday and resulting crashes closed portions of major roadways.

All mainlanes and shoulders were closed, according to TxDOT.
