Yemen’s President Rashad Al-Alimi has issued a chilling warning to global shipping companies: any vessel linked to Israel or its war on Gaza will be considered a legitimate target. This declaration follows a deadly Houthi sea drone and speedboat attack that killed three crew members aboard the Liberian-flagged MV Eternity C in the Red Sea.

The attack on the Greek-owned bulk carrier Eternity C in the crucial maritime route came after the Houthis attacked a similar ship called Magic Seas.

The attack on the Greek-owned Eternity C follows the Iranian-backed Houthis attacking another vessel on Sunday in the Red Sea that they said subsequently sank.
