The Atlanta Braves have acquired veteran starter Erick Fedde from the St. Louis Cardinals. Unfortunately, to make room for Eric Fedde, the Braves placed starter Grant Holmes on the 60-day IL.

Some money is also headed to Atlanta in the deal, with ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez reporting the Cards will be covering the approximately $2.7M remaining on Fedde’s $7.5M salary for the 2025 season.

The Atlanta Braves have acquired veteran right-handed starter Erick Fedde from the St. Louis Cardinals in exchange for cash or a player to be named later. The Braves, who announced the trade on Sunday, will also receive cash considerations in the trade. Earlier in the week, the Cardinals designated the struggling Fedde for assignment.
