DALLAS — Just steps away from a Republican midterm convention that she slammed as a “farce,” U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean, D-Pa., said Thursday she was “gravely disappointed” with Democratic U.S. Sen. John Fetterman’s participation in the event — as well as a range of other issues that she said indicate his abandonment of democratic values.

The Pennsylvania Democrat praised McCormick and vowed to work with Trump as delegates applauded his surprise convention appearance.

“I don’t blame a Democrat alive for being alarmed by that. It just did not look good. You didn’t need to do that,” Stephen A. Smith said.

U.S. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pennsylvania, vowed to work with President Donald Trump to preserve the "steel way of life."
