It was recently announced that Godzilla Minus One writer and director Takashi Yamazaki is returning to direct another Godzilla movie for Toho. Well, it turns out the filmmaker was offered a lot of other directing gigs following the success of his first Godzilla movie,

Following the record-shattering and award-winning success of Godzilla Minus One, Toho has greenlit another Godzilla film with writer, director, and VFX supervisor Takashi Yamazaki back at the helm.
