By Tim Evans and Andy Sullivan MINNEAPOLIS, Jan 24 (Reuters) - U.S. immigration agents shot and killed a U.S. citizen in Minneapolis on Saturday, officials said, sparking fierce protests and condemnations from local leaders in the second such incident this month.
The US citizen shot dead by federal immigration agents in Minneapolis on Saturday was an intensive care nurse at a local veterans' hospital who "wanted to make a difference in this world," family members said.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey pleaded with President Trump to remove federal agents from the city after a 37-year-old man was shot and killed on Saturday. "To President Trump: This is a moment to act like a leader,
