UNITED NATIONS (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is making a whirlwind 24-hour trip to speak at the annual U.N. gathering of world leaders this month because “there is no option” after New York’s mayor urged his arrest over the war in Gaza, Israel’s U.N. envoy said Tuesday.

Speaking at the Western Wall ahead of Rosh Hashanah, Netanyahu pledges Iran will not obtain nuclear weapons as long as he remains Prime Minister.

The defendant is accused of pouring flammable liquid into a recycling bin, adding fuel-soaked material, and setting it alight.
