St. Louis got bigger up front by signing Nick Bjugstad for $3.5 million over the next two years. Bjugstad has spent 13 NHL seasons, primarily with the Florida Panthers and most recently with the Utah Hockey Club. Bjustad, well known for his physicality, also had 157 goals and 173 assists (330 points) over 760 career games.

The Blues announced they’ve signed center Nick Bjugstad to a two-year, $3.5MM contract worth $1.75MM per season. Scouring the free agent market for a third-line center, the Blues have found their man in Bjugstad.
