: As of 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, residents evacuated from the Village of Montour Falls due to a gas line break can now return to their homes at their leisure, the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office said.

Three business have been evacuated due to a gas leak on Hitt Road. Idaho Falls Fire Department said the gas leak was due to a damaged natural gas line. They said Intermountain Gas will need to dig up off 25th Street to shut it off.
