John Wayne Airport in Orange County joins select airports around the country in offering a new family friendly TSA line to reduce the stress of traveling with children.

The Transportation Security Administration announced in July its new "Families on the Fly" program, which aims to "put families first and enhance their airport security screening experience."

As part of the initiative, TSA is testing a separate line at security dedicated just for families. Currently, the Orlando International Airport and the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport are the only airports participating. However, there are plans for the initiative to expand to other airports soon.
