An Arkansas woman is facing the unimaginable, losing both her father and brother in the wildfires that continue to rage in California.
Earlier this week, Mailes traveled with the Southeast Missouri & Northeast Arkansas Red Cross team to help those impacted by the fires in California. Along with hundreds of volunteers, they were able to walk and see the damaged areas and listen to stories of those who have been living through this tragedy.
A father dying by the side of his bedridden son has been one of the most compelling stories from the wildfires in California, one with an Arkansas connection.
"As you can imagine, these are people who are in tremendous crisis. So we do have people who are highly trained to go in right now to help," said Executive Director.
