Washington's James Wood became the first MLB player since Barry Bonds to be intentionally walked four times in a game.

James Wood solidified himself as one of the top power threats in the MLB, becoming the first player since Barry Bonds in 2004 with four intentional walks in a game, in a 7-4 win against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday.

Barry Bonds has been a legendary name in MLB for decades. However, his name has been trending more than usual this season. First, it was Aaron Judge drawing comparisons after his monster April. Then Shohei Ohtani had Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts linking him to Bonds because of his stellar all-around performance.
