BOSTON -- Charlie Coyle scored twice in the third period, and the Boston Bruins rallied for a 6-3 win against the San Jose Sharks at TD Garden on Monday. Coyle, who also had an assist, ended a 10-game drought at 8:22 to tie it 3-3, then gave Boston a 4-3 lead at 14:11.
Will Smith came home to Boston with a goal and an assist in one of the best games of his young career. Fabian Zetterlund and Barclay Goodrow also scored for the Sharks, who have lost three straight. Yaroslav Askarov returned from an illness and made 27 saves.
It had been 10 games since Charlie Coyle last scored a goal, and he picked the perfect time to break the drought. With two goals in the third period, Coyle helped lead a comeback effort for the Boston Bruins on Monday afternoon that ended in a 6-3 win over the San Jose Sharks at TD Garden.
