MILWAUKEE - Family of Bob Uecker held a family memorial and burial for the Hall of Fame Brewers announcer on Friday, Jan. 24. Bob Uecker passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16. He was 90 years old.

"He made countless contributions to the history and culture of Major League Baseball, and he was active in giving back to our communities and our state."

A private memorial and burial were held on Jan. 24 for broadcasting legend and Hall of Famer Bob Uecker, according to his family. Uecker died Jan. 16 at the age of 90 after a private battle with small cell lung cancer.
