Indian police officers shut down Ed Sheeran’s public performance after saying the British singer didn’t have permission. Sheeran was between shows in the southern city of Bangalore and did some busking on the city’s Church Street on Feb.

During his Mathematics Tour in India, British singer Ed Sheeran surprised fans with an impromptu street performance on Bengaluru's Church Street. While performing "Shape of You," local police intervened,

"We have permission to be here, but this policeman is shutting it down," Sheeran can be heard telling the crowd in videos posted online. "See you later."
