BATON ROUGE, La. – Southeastern Conference play is upon the fifth-ranked LSU women’s basketball team as the Tigers prepare to open their 16-game league schedule with the Kentucky Wildcats on Thursday, Jan. 1, inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 11/12 University of Kentucky women’s basketball program, who also is seventh in the latest NET rankings, will play host to Hofstra inside Historic Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. ET. It is the program’s final nonconference game of the regular season.
No. 11 Kentucky dominated Hofstra 80-42 on Sunday at Historic Memorial Coliseum, where the Wildcats are 15-0 the past two seasons. Clara Strack led all scorers with 24 points and 11 rebounds while adding seven blocks. Amelia Hassett knocked down five 3-pointers, scoring 11 of her 18 points in the third quarter.
