Ligue 1 side Rennes signed Japanese international Kyogo Furuhashi from Celtic on Monday, with Portuguese forward Jota rejoining the Scottish champions. The Portugal under-21 international left the Glasgow outfit to join Saudi side Al Ittihad before moving to Rennes in August last year.

Jota (25) has left Rennes to secure his comeback to Celtic FC, both clubs have announced. The Portuguese winger has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract with the Scottish Premiership giants,

Kyogo Furuhashi has joined Rennes in a reported £10million deal from Celtic, with Jota finalising a move in the other direction as he returns to the Scottish champions.
