Trump says he favors a nuclear deal with Iran but won’t hesitate to take military action if talks collapse, insisting he won’t be dragged into war by Israel — but might enter one by choice.

The president said he would be “leading the pack” against Iran if it did not agree to a nuclear deal, but he said he was open to meeting Iranian leaders.

Trump also denied reports that he had “stopped” Israel from attacking Iran’s uranium enrichment sites, but added that “I didn’t make it comfortable for them.”
